Guess where I am right now? LOL. Don't bother answering cause I know you have no idea. I'm currently at a friend's house. I'm keeping her company because we'd just finished watching this horror flick called Fragile(A Ghost Story) and let me tell you, she is so scared. A sudden thump or uncomfortable noise would probably freak the hell out of her. So... here I am,keeping her company. Anyways, the thing is.... LOL. She's beside me right now and she's looking forward to what i'm going to type next... so... Hmmm... Okay. I like her. I like her very much. I'm sort of looking forward to a thing called "us". But I still don't know. She just got out of a bad relationship. And I mean really bad. It's a thing called over jealousy but that's not the point. I mean he's not a total ass since she loved him very much. And... that's it for now. We still have to study. Until then...

There's Nothing Wrong With Herpes. I know I have it!

First, let me say that that's a quote from John Tucker Must Die. I mean, it's not a spoken quote. It was there on the fake-herpes-reputation-thing. Anyway, the point is I think I have the flu. But no worries! It's not much of a big deal. It's like everyday flu and I think I already got past the worst state. I think I'm now in the waiting-to-get-better state. What's wrong is that I think my classmates got ill too. I don't know if I have the flu. I think not because my runny nose, cough and fever came because of different reasons. Not exactly like the flu that I think will just make you sick out of the blue. But if I do have it, I just contaminated my classmates. Some of them are sick now. I feel guilty. Sorry!

The Beginning...
A boy walked into high school not where to go. He found his friends standing by the pathway and he joined them. The teacher assigned the students to their respective classrooms. The boy walked into the classroom filled with unfamiliar faces. As he moves his eyes to the right side of the room he saw his previous classmates in grade school. After sitting down, a teacher arrived and rearranged their seats in alphabetical order. As he tries to be familiar with everyone's faces, a girl caught his attention. He didn't remember what she was wearing but the girl made a clear picture on the boy's mind. She has long, black hair and a white and flawless skin and a very pretty smile. It was recess time and he tried to get information about the girl by asking his friends about her. His friends told him that she was in a few episodes of a soap opera. After knowing this, the boy became more curious about the girl. After a few days, he made new friends and some of them says that they don't like the girl because she was overconfident. Because a majority of the people he asked didn't like her, he never thought of being friends with her.

Months passed and the boy started to go to school earlier during lunchtime to talk to this cute girl she likes. By coincidence, the girl who was said to be over confident was also eating lunch at the canteen because she lives in another town. Everytime he goes to the school he just listened to the stories the two girls tell each other even though he has no idea who they were talking about. After a few days, the boy found out that the girl broke up with someone in their classroom. He was curious and by asking a few questions to some people, he found out that the guy she just broke up with was his seatmate. He tried to dig information about the reason behind the break up but unfortunately, the guy didn't told him anything interesting. Because of this, the boy decided to ask the girl directly to gain information but what he did not know, he gained more than that.

An Everlasting Friendship…
A year passed by and they're on their sophomore year. In the first few weeks, the boy tried to catch up with his new classmates because he was now seperated from his old classmates including the girl. Trying to belong to his new classmates he didn't paid much attention to the girl that before took his attention. After succeeding in belonging to the class, he started going to school earlier at lunch to rekindle his friendship with the girl. They grew closer as they share ideas and sorts of things that they only share to few people. One day, he went beside her. She was holding her cellphone. He asked who is she texting. She said that its the guy he likes but her parents don't like him. She also talked about how she didn't like the way her parents treat her in a overprotective way. The boy became more attached to the girl as he saw the sensitive and vulnerable side of her. Before, he looks at her and he sees this girl that was confident and intimidating but now he sees her as a friend who needs someone to talk to. As time passes by, he saw her cry. He saw her laugh and giggle. Whether it was a story of sadness or happy memories, he listened to her with every word. He didn't know why but he felt like he must be there for her. He wants to protect her heart that was already breaking. He wants to protect her so that he could see her smile again without hurting.

When Cupid Hit His Heart…
It was December and the boy planned to tell her how he really feels for her this past few weeks while they are dancing in the Christmas Party. The Christmas Party started lively as the dance jams play. After a while, a love song was played and the both of them met at the dance floor. While they were dancing, the boy thought if it is the right time. He wondered how will she react if she knew. As he encouraged himself to tell her how he feels, a guy came to them and asked the girl to dance with him. Showing politeness, the boy let the guy dance with the girl. The boy went to the canteen to drink water. As he was on his way back, his favorite OPM song was played and he hurried to the gymnasium to dance with her. He looked straight to the girl's eyes. "Are you sure he's the one?" the boy asked the girl. "I don't know. Why?" She found the question strange. There was a short moment of silence as they look at each other. "Uhm... Don't be upset or anything, okay?" he sounded nervous. "I have this... feelings for you. I mean... i like you." He was shy. "We'll still be friends, right? Don't get weird on me." She said. "Of course. I thought you were the one that would feel weird about this." He felt relieved. "So... Since when?" She asked him. "I have no idea... Its just one time that we're fooling around and we exchanged i love you's... And then you smiled... It just feels different than before." He blushed. "Friends?" She asked him. "Friends." He smiled at her.

The First Misunderstanding...
After a few months, the interclass competition was near and he and his classmates decided to practice at the field. Unfortunately, some guys were playing at the field. The boy decided to talk to them because the teacher said it was their time to play. The boy was talking seriously but the guy he was talking to made funny faces as he talked which made him lose his temper. After a while, one of his classmates told him that they could play at the bigger field because the varsity players were already gone. "C'mon, let's go to the big field! No stupid people around!" He planned his words to offend the guy. but what he didn't know the other guys in the field took it the wrong way.

The next morning, news was all around the sophomores that somebody from the boy's class told the students in the 3rd section was stupid. The boy admitted that it was him and he explained that his words are only for the guy he was talking to. He didn't know if the students believe him but worse the girl was mad at him. At the end of the week, the boy decided to talk to the girl. He found her sitting at the study area. "Hey." he tried a friendly approach. The girl didn’t respond. She didn’t even look at the boy. “Look… If this is about me saying bad things about the 3rd section…” he didn’t finish his sentence. “How could you say something like that about them? I got really good friends over there.” She sounded disappointed. “I admit it. I said those words but I would never mean it like that. The only person that in was referring to was the guy I was talking to at the field that afternoon. Besides, I also got friends over there and you know that I would never say bad things about them.” After the conversation they reconciled and talked the way they used to be again.

Goodbye Is Not Forever…
School was almost over and instead of being happy, the boy was sad. “Isn’t it great that school is going to be over soon?” a friend asked the boy. “Yeah, its great.” The boy didn’t sound happy. “What’s the matter?” His friend asked him. “Don’t get me wrong. Vacation is great but I couldn’t be happier when she’s by my side. I mean school is just the only thing that keeps me with her. This is the only place where we could meet.” He said. He was right because after a few weeks during the vacation, the girls stopped sending text messages to the boy. The boy got worried because he might have done something wrong and decided to ask the girl’s friends about her. They said that they seldom receive text messages either. A few weeks before school, he found out that her cellphone use was limited due to some reasons.

Looking for the Missing Pieces…
Junior year started and the boy tried to focus on his studies. He soon found time to talk to the girl and they told each other what happened to both of them back at summer. “How’s your lovelife?” The girl asked the boy. “I don’t know. You tell me.” The boy joked. What he really meant was that the answer depends upon her because she is the one he loves. “I heard about you and this one girl.” She looked down at the floor. “No. You completely misunderstood it. We were just messing around. It’s nothing.” He explained. “Then, is it still me?” the girl looked at him. The boy looked at her by surprise. “Uhm…” He was about to say yes. “I was just kidding.” She smiled at him. “Right.” He looked down.

When Sweet Chocolates Get Bitter…
It was almost intramurals and the boy started to practice in cheerleading. He was always tired because of the practices and some quizzes are still going on and he needs to study. Because of being busy, the boy didn’t have much time to hangout with the girl which made him feel guilty. After the intramurals, the Acquaintance Party was the next event that the boy looks forward to because he imagined it would be like the Christmas Party last year. He sat in the bleachers next the girl and her friends during that night. The party started lively as usual and they all went down to the dancefloor. After a while, a love song was played and he went towards the girl. He asked her to dance. “Maybe later.” She replied quickly. He sat down at the side of the dancefloor as he watched her dance with a guy. As the guy left, another guy came up to him and she danced again. They finished dancing and the boy thought it was his turn already. When he was on his way to the girl, dance tunes started playing. He decided to leave the gymnasium first and drink water. He came back and love songs are playing again and he asked her to dance but she still said later. He sat back at the bleachers alone watching her dance with other guys. After a while, he went down the dancefloor. “Can you dance with me now?” He asked. “I already said that I’ll dance with you later. Stop bugging me.” He walked away with his heart crushed. He can feel his eyes getting filled with tears but he never let them fall. He sat again at the bleachers and he watched her dance. She seemed to be having a great time. He just wished that it was him that she was dancing with.

The Aftermath…
Weeks passed and the girl still doesn’t talk to him. He smiled at her once but she never seemed to notice him at all. He sought from his friends. One said that maybe she had fallen for the boy. Another said that maybe she just needs space. He found it impossible for her to be in love with him so maybe she just needs space. Months passed and he thought he should ask her himself. He saw her hanging out at the study area with her classmates. He decided to take the opportunity to talk to her. “What are you doing out here?” He asked her. “It’s PEHM time.” One of her friends replied. “Are you mad at me? He asked her. “No, I’m not.” She replied. “Why are you being like that? Have I done something wrong?” He asked her. “It’s not you, okay. It’s me.” She said. “Why?” He asked. “I feel uneasy with you being around.” Hearing her words made his mind more confused.

Roses Are Red and so is The Heart Between Our Names…
It was time again for Christmas Party and he wasn’t expecting much to happen. He had fun when the dance tunes are played. However, his happiness was broken when a love song was played and it reminded him of what happened last Acquaintance Party. He bought a rose and decided to take the risk to ask the girl to dance. “I’m nervous.” He told a friend. “You can do this.” The friend encouraged him. “If she refused, its okay. If she says yes, congratulations. If its for her, I’m willing to take the risk.” He talked to himself. He went down the dance floor and asked her to dance. She accepted the rose and they danced. He asked her of what’s really going on with her lately but he got the same answer. He tried to get more answer but the girl danced livelier than the love song way and it clearly means that she doesn’t wan to talk about it.

The Ending That Opens To More Roads
They started practicing the dances for their prom. Things were now a little friendlier between the boy and the girl. They greet each other now. They smile at each other but the boy’s mind is still wandering what’s really been in her mind. He planned something for her this valentine. It isn’t that expensive and luxurious but its what his heart told him to give her. “I’m not rich like your suitor and I’m not as handsome as your crushes but what I’m willing to give is my heart and my everything.”

I Created Another Story

Sunday, December 30, 2007

This one is sort of like a Cinderella. I entitled it 180.
Here it is:

Once upon a time, there was this most popular teenage girl in high school. She has blond hair, white complexion, and a pair of beautiful blue eyes. Aside from being the most popular many say that she is the most beautiful and also the richest. Every guy in school wants her and every girl wants to be her. Let’s face it, everyone loves her, at least maybe three-fourth of the student body does. Her mom died after giving birth to her. Since then, all his father’s attention and love was concentrated to her. Until one day…

“Chantal? Sweetheart, can I come in?” her father knocked at the door of her room. He came in with this beautiful woman, but Chantal wondered who that woman is. “This is Chantal, my daughter. Chantal, this is Beth, your future mother.” Her father said looking really nervous. Chantal didn’t say a word because she was surprised. His father never told her that he is dating someone and now she’s marrying one. “I’ll just go to the bathroom.” Chantal excused herself out of the conversation. She hurried to the bathroom and her father followed her. “Dad, why are you doing this?! Don’t you love mother anymore?” she broke into tears thinking about her mother. “Of course I still love her but we have to accept the fact that she’s gone and I need someone to help me take care of you and our catering business.” His father talked to her more and then they hugged. It all means that there will be a wedding day. It all happened so much that she didn’t even notice Beth and her twins move in their house. Her father and her new stepmother spent their honeymoon at Hawaii. Chantal decided to call his father to check if he’s doing well. “Hey Dad, how are you?” she asked him. “Sweetheart, I was just about to call you. I’m out here looking for signal. How are the twins?” he asked. “I don’t know. They are not coming out of their room since they arrived from school.” She said. “I see. Listen I’m just going to… Aahhh!!!” his father screamed out loud and Chantal started to worry.

The next morning, she woke up early still thinking about her father. She looked at the window and saw Beth with the police. She knew what it all meant but she rejected the thought out of her mind. “I’m sorry…” Beth said to her. Before she knew it, the coffin was buried and she was tired. She wants to go to her room and just cry herself to sleep. She went to her room and she saw that it completely changed. Michelle will be the owner of it and Rachelle will own the guest room and for their mother was his father’s room. Beth assigned her in the basement. In there, she saw her bed, closet and other stuffs that the twins didn’t want. She just laid there thinking that at least she wasn’t kicked out of the house.

The next day, as she was about to go to school, Beth talked to her. “Chantal, I know that this is all hard for you. Your father trusted me that I’ll take care of you. Don’t worry because I will but as of your financial support I can’t help you with that. Because I am so kind, I gave you a job at your father’s catering business.” She said trying to look sincere enough. Chantal didn’t answer. “Oh, cheer up! You are going to be one of those people that serve the food.” She added. “You mean a waitress?! I can’t do that! What about my reputation?” she was mad. “That’s not my problem anymore, is it? She walked away laughing like every other horrible witch does. She noticed that her car was being used by the twins. She tried to get it back but she failed. The twins just gave her a bicycle. “Well… at least I could have a good exercise every morning.” She said to herself. She thought of how school would be because she knows that everybody already knows that her father is dead. She has only two friends, Jenah, her long time friend, and John, her boyfriend. Its not like she doesn’t want to make friends. She’s just afraid to trust people. Her schoolmates don’t know this. Instead, of being afraid to make friends, they just think that she only cares about her hair and her body.

She is seeing the school’s entrance. Lots of the students are coming in. She became more nervous. She noticed that lots of students are looking at her. She felt more nervous. Then Jenah came up to her and apologized about not making it to his father’s funeral. “You know I can’t miss a practice. I need to be active to become head cheerleader.” Jenah said. Her boyfriend came and apologized about the same thing. “My parents dragged me to join them to go out of town.” John said. Anyway, she forgave both of them. Later that night, Jenah called her and said that she was picked as head cheer leader. Chantal was happy for her but she wishes she could have happiness for herself.

It was 4 in the morning and Beth already woke Chantal up. Chantal was mad because even the sun isn’t up yet. But in the end, she just did what Beth told her to do. She thinks that it is for her own good. Before going to school, Beth talked to her about this country club party that they are going to cater. At first she thought that Beth would invite her because after all, his father was a member of the country club but of course, who is she kidding she will be a waitress for that night. After school, she went straight to the venue and helped the others arrange the place for the party. She changed to her attire and put her mask because it was a masquerade party and everyone must wear masks. All the people arrived and he recognized John and Jenah together. She didn’t come close because she thought that maybe that’s not them because they are wearing masks and if it is them she doesn’t want them to know that she is now just a waitress working for money because they have this “popular kid” attitude. The party started and its time to serve the food. She decided to explore the place a little bit. She saw Jenah at the garden. She was planning to tell her about her condition but then John came to her and she watched what would happen next. They talked a little bit and then John kissed Jenah and she kissed back. “How dare you to cheat on me with my best friend!?” she confronted them. “What are you doing here?” John said. “What are you doing, kissing my best friend?” she asked. “I’ll do it.” Jenah said. “It’s because you don’t want to give him what he wants and I give him everything he desired.” She explained as she plays with John’s hand. “What do you mean?” Chantal became confused. “I’ve been waiting for this the whole time, Chantal.” She looked angry. “Do you mean you’re backstabbing me this whole time?!” She shouted. “Congratulations! You just hit the jackpot. Let’s see… You’re prizes are being a filthy waitress, losing you’re popularity, total humiliation and losing your BF and BFF at the same night. And you know what? You didn’t deserve to become popular because deep down you are just another one of those losers who are afraid to have sex. I’m the head cheerleader and you’re the waitress and by tomorrow I’m the most popular in school.” Chantal cried upon hearing that her best friend was not even a friend. “Hey Chantal” John called her. “I don’t date virgins!” Jenah and John laughed. She ran away crying. All of the sudden, she bumped a guy. He helped her get up and they stared at each other. Out of her depression, he kissed the guy. The guy kissed back and they kissed for quite some time. The moment was ruined when her phone rang. She ran but her hand was held by the guy and because of that the guy accidentally pulled of her ring. She continued to run and the guy lost track of her. He kept the ring in his pocket and then he touched his lips. He felt something special about the kiss and so did Chantal. It’s like there’s a connection. Back at the house, Chantal laid on her bed and she was touching her lips. It was like that kiss made her feel better.

It was a day for school again and this time it was more horrible because she has no one to talk to. The worse thing is that everyone talks about her. They were looking at her like they are disgusted and giggling. Then she saw her pictures at the wall in her waitress attire and the pictures are labeled “The Popular Waitress”. She just accepted the fact that she could never get away with this so she just ignored everyone. It was then the lunchtime and she couldn’t find a table to eat at. Everyone was staring at her and by the way that they stare, it is clear that they don’t want her to sit with them. After five minutes of standing in front of everybody, a girl behind her invited her to go with her. Both of them sat with people she didn’t even recognize. Its strange and then she realized that maybe she was kind of choosy when it comes to who she’ll hang out with. But yet these people are kind enough to let her sit with them. Everyone in the table looked at her. “I’m Chantal.” She smiled. “Don’t worry, we still know you.” The girl that invited her joked. “By the way I’m Heather.” She added. “This is Betty, Brooke and Sophia.” She continued. They spent the day together. At least now, she won’t have to worry about school.

One afternoon, she was about to go home when she noticed that her bicycle’s wheels are gone. She already knows who’s behind this, the varsity basketball players. “Don’t blame the varsity players for this. It’s not their fault. If they didn’t follow John’s order they’ll be off the team and if John didn’t follow Jenah’s orders he’ll lose her. That’s just how it works. Why does she hate you that much anyway?” A guy said. “I don’t know. I don’t care!” She said. “Looks like you’re going to need a ride.” The guy tried to make her ride with him. “I don’t ride with strangers.” She said. “I’m sorry. I’m Chris.” He smiled at her and offered a handshake. “And I’m seriously annoyed. Nice try. Get out of my face.” She appeared so strong and confident which is not been her for a long time. She was looking for Heather and the other but it looked like they left. “I think they already left. Looks like you really need me.” He grinned at her. “Fine! But don’t you ever touch me!” she warned her. Even though she appeared that she is not interested in him they soon became friends and like every other girl-meets-boy story, they fell in love with each other.

It was the Homecoming Dance and Chantal looked beautiful. She was having fun with her new friends and new boyfriend. It was already the time to announce the Homecoming King and Queen and everybody was quiet. “This year’s Homecoming King is… Chris McKenzie” everybody clapped and after a few seconds everybody was quiet again because its now time for the Homecoming Queen to be known. “Chantal Jones!” She was surprised upon hearing her name, everyone is too. They all thought it would be Jenah but Chantal won. Jenah was so furious that she took the microphone and went on the stage. “Before the two of you leave, I would just like to say congratulations to both of you, especially for Chris.” Chantal was confused upon hearing what Jenah said. “Congratulations Chris! You can still call yourself a varsity player. You did it. You made Chantal fall in love with you. Chris! You can still call yourself a varsity player. You did it. You made Chantal fall in love with you. Oh Poor you Chantal! You are indeed a Cinderella. Oh But wait! Because you don’t have a prince you can’t be her. That’s such a shame Chantal, such a shame.” Jenah laughed and Chantal ran away crying. “Hey Jenah.” Sophia punched her in the face and then Brook slapped her then Betty spit at her and for the final blow, Heather threw her drink at Jenah. Chris tried to look for Chantal but she was already gone.

The next morning she had a big headache. She read this letter from her aunt that says that she’ll come home for her graduation. The twins and her stepmother already left and she still waited for her aunt that she only heard of once from her father. A car arrived and a beautiful woman came out and she looked young. “Chantal darling!” the woman hugged her. “Is that you Aunt Dianne?” she asked. “yes its me. Hurry up Pack your bags because you are moving in my home.” She made her excited. “Where is your home?” Chantal asked. “In London, of course. Now hurry!” Chantal went in the house quickly. “What are you doing here?” Beth came back to get her purse. “What are you doing to my niece?! I already called the cops so everything will be at its place.” Her aunt said. As she said, everything fell into place. Her father’s house, cars and catering business is now hers. Beth and the twins was charged of two year community service. After graduation they headed to the airport. “Chantal!” Chris called her. “I’m sorry Chantal. I love you. I really do.” He apologized. “I believe you but I have to go.” She said. “Here’s your ring.” He gave the ring to Chantal. “You mean you are that guy from the party?” she asked. “If you are that crazy girl that kissed me then yes, I’m that guy.” He smiled. “I’m sorry but I have to go.” She said. “Is there anything I can do to make you stay?” a teardrop fell from his eyes. “Keep this ring to remind you of my love. Okay?” She turned around and tears came out her eyes. “Please… Stay…” he begged. “People that are meant to be together always find their way in the end.” That was her last words he ever heard from her since then.

She’s in London and she kept in touch to all of her friends but she didn’t get any word from Chris. She was on her way to school when her car broke down. “Looks like you’re going to need a ride.” A guy said. “I don’t ride with stra… Oh my God! Chris!” She leaped into his arms and she kissed him. And what happened next? As they say it, they lived happily ever after.
